A draw on Tuesday Night against Dagenham would give Brentford a Well deserved automatic promotion place after thier 3-0 demolition of Accrington Stanley. Brentford could well have gone up however results didn't go thier way (Bury winning 3-0). Even so, a point would clinch promotion and a win would seal the championship if Wycombe can't manage a win on Saturday. If the Bees get 6/6 possible points we will most certainly be champions come the Luton game!

Andy Scott has dipped into the loan market to sign Sam Williams on an initial one months loan from Aston Villa.Williams who has recently been on loan at Walsall is a defensive midfielder turned striker who has been doing well in Villa's reserves and out on loan at Walsall,Colchester and Brighton.Williams will go straight into the squad for Tuesday's home game with Barnet

Naturally a defensive midfielder before the start of the 2005/06 season, Williams took straight into the role of an attacker, after injuries to strikers. Having never started a first team game for his parent club he is a regular scorer for the reserves. He has been sent on loan multiple times to gain first team experience. His first loan spell was at Wrexham where he scored on his debut against Wycombe Wanderers. In November 2008, Williams spent a month on loan at Football League One side Colchester United, again scoring on his debut in a 1-0 victory over Bournemouth. In January 2009 he joined Walsall on another single month loan deal. He returned to Villa on February 26 due to a hip injury, although Saddlers boss Chris Hutchings refused to rule out Williams returning to the Bescot Stadium again. ... [more]
